From his grandma's couch in Mexico watching Juanes on MTV to the Austin stage.
A first-generation Mexican American raised between two musical worlds — the Texas sounds of Stevie Ray Vaughan and the Hispanic influences of Juanes, Santana, Selena, and cumbia.
Saxophone at 12, guitar at 14. Today he plays guitar, DJs as Guira King, and produces events through Texas Gold Records — a two-time City of Austin music grantee building Austin's Latino music scene.
